The Look-In is a not-for-profit community café situated in Great Hollands, open from 9am until 3.30pm Mondays to Fridays serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, freshly made sandwiches, lunches etc. The manager is supported by volunteers to provide a friendly service to customers.

We are currently looking for someone new to join our management committee. Our committee meets every few months to discuss how business is going and to deal with any managerial issues. We figure out how the café should be run and keep everything up-to-date. Could you be our new committee members?

The café also needs regular volunteers to help fill the rota in 3 hour shifts. This will involve serving customers by taking orders, making drinks, delivering orders to the tables, clearing tables, using the dishwasher and other jobs to keep the café welcoming to customers. Training will, of course, be given to the right candidates. Volunteers should be reliable, prepared to take instruction, but also to be alert to the needs of the job before being asked. Interaction with the customers should be polite at all times.
